Practitioner Directory Disclaimer and Listing Terms

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This page has two parts. Part A is for people who use the directory to find a practitioner. Part B is for practitioners who list their practice on Yellow.

Part A: Directory Disclaimer (for people searching)

Yellow does not provide medical care and does not refer or endorse. The directory is an informational listing of independent practitioners. It is a starting point for your own research, not a recommendation.

  • Independent practitioners. Practitioners listed are independent professionals. Yellow does not employ them, supervise them, or provide care through them. A listing is not a referral, endorsement, or guarantee.
  • No vetting guarantee. We aim to list practitioners with relevant menopause experience, and our clinical board helps shape the criteria. We do not, however, guarantee any practitioner's qualifications, licensure, competence, availability, or the quality or outcome of any care. Descriptions, specialisms, ratings, and reviews are provided by practitioners or users and are not verified by us as accurate.
  • Location and licensure. Practitioners may be located outside the United States, and may not be licensed or authorised to practise in your state or country. A listing does not mean a practitioner can lawfully treat you where you live. Check this yourself before booking or acting.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for verifying a practitioner's credentials, licensure, and suitability, and for any decision to engage them. Any relationship and any payment are strictly between you and the practitioner.
  • Not liable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yellow is not liable for the acts, omissions, advice, or care of any practitioner listed, or for your reliance on directory information. See our Terms of Service and Medical Disclaimer.
  • Reviews. Reviews reflect individual user opinions, not Yellow's views. We may remove reviews that breach our guidelines.

Part B: Practitioner Listing Terms (for practitioners)

These terms apply when you list your practice on Yellow.

  • Eligibility and accuracy. You confirm that you hold the qualifications, registrations, and licences you state, that you are entitled to practise as described, and that the information you provide is accurate and current. You will update it when it changes.
  • Verification. You agree we may review and verify the information you provide, and may decline, edit, or remove a listing at our discretion, including where information is inaccurate, misleading, or the subject of complaints.
  • What we collect from you. We collect your professional and contact details and listing content to operate the directory. We handle this under our Privacy Policy. Do not send us patient or client health information.
  • Your content. You grant Yellow a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your listing content in the directory and in related promotion of the directory. You retain ownership of your content.
  • Conduct. You will comply with the laws and professional rules that apply to you, including advertising and licensure rules in the places where you practise. You are solely responsible for the care you provide and for your interactions with users.
  • No guarantee of results. We do not guarantee enquiries, bookings, or income from a listing.
  • Independent relationship. You are an independent professional. These terms do not create employment, agency, partnership, or a referral arrangement between you and Yellow.
  • Removal. You may ask us to remove your listing at any time by emailing directory@spotyellow.com. We may remove listings at our discretion.
  • Liability and indemnity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yellow is not liable for losses arising from your listing or your practice, and you agree to indemnify Yellow against claims arising from your listing content or the care you provide.
  • Governing law. These listing terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Delhi, India having jurisdiction, without removing mandatory protections that apply to you where you practise.
